I have always been a sucker for pretty packaging. If I had a choice between two identical products but one had a beautiful label and the other didn’t, I would likely go with the nicer looking one! It seems that products of yesteryear had much more decorative and elaborate packaging than their contemporary counterparts. Artful drawings, elegant fonts, metal tins, beveled glass bottles and other little touches made these items appear special. While the majority of cosmetics and beauty items in our modern world have become a bit sterile looking, there are still some companies out there who know how to design aesthetically pleasing products!
