Hello there Guys & Dolls and welcome to my blog, The Delancey Dame! My name is Sally Sweet and I am a self-professed vintage fanatic. The fashion, the movies, the music, the décor, EVERYTHING inspires me! There is just something about the past that speaks to me on a level that current trends can’t even come close to. I’ve been buying vintage and antiquities for as long as I can remember and coming from a family of pickers, collectors and garage sale gurus it’s no surprise that its in my blood! Nothing gets my motor running like rummaging through racks at a thrift store or searching for buried treasure at a local flea market! I hope to inspire all you fellow vintage vixens out there to see that you can achieve the retro look you desire without having to break the bank. Whether you are a fan of the roaring twenties or the swinging sixties, I’ll show you how to take inspiration from everything the past has to offer and create a style all your own in the present!

My name is Sara and I am a self-professed vintage fanatic. There is just something about the past that speaks to me on a level that current trends can’t even come close to.

So join me, fellow vintage enthusiasts and check out my personal musings on fashion, films and starlets from bygone eras ;)
