Drugstore Delight of the Month: Jordana Easy Liner for Lips

This month’s post is a wee bit late (As it is almost the end of the month, lol) but its a good one!

As a retro pin up with vintage style, one of the key looks in your make-up arsenal is a bold red lip! Being an old-school kinda gal, a coordinating lip liner is essential for me in getting my lips just right. I know many women shy away from lip liner, but it is a huge component in making your lipstick stay in place and last all day. Just as a belt can define your waist, a liner can add definition to your unique lip shape!

That being said, I’m gonna let y’all in on a little secret! Behold, my favorite lip liner! Jordana Easy Liner for Lips is an extremely high quality automatic pencil at a super affordable price!     I picked this up a few years ago at Duane Reade for just $2.99 and have never looked back! It glides on super smooth, like butter. The texture is so creamy, it never drags! I use it alone sometimes with just a touch of lip balm and it looks like lipstick (As seen in my photos)! The colour I use is called Sedona Red and it is a must have in my makeup bag!

People are always complementing my lipstick, and this is why! There’s nothing worse than when your lip colour has gone slipping and sliding all over the place!  By lining the lips before applying your lipstick, you are building a foundation for everything else to stick to. It also helps to prevent lip colour from bleeding into fine lines around the mouth. This liner gives you that extra oomph and keeps your lips looking perfect.

So go on all you pinup dolls, run don’t walk to your nearest Duane Reade!

Check out all of the shades at the Jordana Cosmetics website!
